Parking

For visitors needing daily oncampus parking, parking passes are available for $10/day at the parking/visitor information booths near several of the entrances to the university. We recommend parking in the visitor section of the parking garage on campus; it is a short walk from there to the Engineering quad where the conference will be held.

For those staying at Carl Becker House, passes will be available for purchase at the registration desk to allow you to park in nearby parking lots.

Weather

The average daytime high in Ithaca in late June is in the high 70s Fahrenheit (25 C) and the average low is in the mid 50s (13 C). That being said, it is not unusual for the temperature to get into the high 80s or low 90s (30-34 C) and it can be rather humid. It is also not unusual for the daytime highs to be in the mid-60s (16-19 C), so you may wish to bring a sweater or jacket.

While we have ordered sunshine for the full length of the conference, it may not be delivered in time, and so we recommend that participants bring umbrellas and other rain gear.
